How long did your baby sleep in your room with you?

I want to know if your baby slept in the room with you and if so, for how long? Our son slept in his crib in our room with us since he’s born, he’s now 5 months old. Did you have trouble putting your baby back in his room afterwards and at what age did you do so
?

My daughter slept in her own bed when she came home from the hospital for a couple weeks. We had to wake her up every 3-4 hours(she was premature) to eat, and so it seemed easier to co-sleep. So we did that for the next 6 months or so. We have just moved into a new house and I started right away putting her down in her own crib. I loved co-sleeping, but it meant daddy had to sleep on the couch. Also, now she is much more active and we already have a smaller bed, and I worried to much about her falling off. So, I’m very glad she is in her own bed and I don’t worry, and I sleep much better and I think she does too!

We have had a bit of trouble with her and her new bed, but it’s only been a couple weeks since we started!
