Why can’t I watch video on my wireless network?
I have a Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router WRT160N Wireless router but can not watch any video online or go to a website with animation/graphics. Mozilla states (Not Responding) when I try. Distance is not an issue I can have the laptop right next to the router, doesn’t matter. I have used my laptop on other networks just fine. What gives?
It’s interesting that you state you can’t watch video on your wireless network. Try hooking your laptop directly to the modem and see what happens. If that resolves the problem… then you know router configuration is needed…but router configuration surely isn’t something you want to get started in if you don’t have to; but I really doubt that it is your router. Sounds more like Flash needs to be updated, or Java… something “extra” like that. Might also want to try Internet Explorer vs. Firefox to see if IE works.
