Extra Ideas Before Baby Arrives : Have You Thought Of This?

The blissful excitement is building up as each day draws closer to your due date. You still have to pinch yourself every so often to convince yourself that you are going to be a mother, a caregiver to a child for the rest of it’s life. How wonderful and utterly noble a thing to be able to do. With all the hopes and dreams for yourself and baby, you might have forgotten about some items still on your list.

A baby has so many needs especially when they are newly born there are the nappies and jumpers and not to forget the ever important feed. If you are like many other mothers who who like to breast feed her baby, then you should consider a double electric breast pump to do the job.

It will also help you to produce enough milk should you fall ill or not be able to breast feed baby. You can easily let the pump express milk so you can freeze it in special bags. Keep your frozen milk only for six months and then discard after that. Immediately freeze so as to keep all the nutrients fresh as it is expressed into the bottles.

You can then freeze your milk and keep it safe for about six months. This way you can be assured that Your Baby is getting the nutrients needed to stimulate growth and ward off pesky viruses or bacterial infections if you cannot for some reason breast feed.

Bath time can be a harrowing task for any new mother as babies tend to feel threatened when exposed to the cold air and on top of it, is held in a horizontal position in a object much bigger than they are used to. You see they want small spaces and want to feel like they are still in the womb. It makes them feel safe and non threatened.

It is really not necessary to put them through all that so you could maybe look into a spa baby, as an alternative to the conventional bath tubs used. It makes sense that baby would fit snug into this space and will always feel warm because of the height of the water.

Of course bed time is important for baby’s development and you need to plan ahead how he will sleep and on what. Today there are an array of different styles and shapes and colors to choose from. Your baby bed will be a crib at first, which will convert into a daybed and a full sized bed for youngsters because they are economical and you don’t have to worry about sleeping arrangements in a while.
