Why are children’s beliefs and personalities being decided at such early ages these days?
I see it everywhere…the G-Unit baby outfits, the big timerland boots, the fake bling blind all over the babies. Cursing around the toddlers without any attempt to shield them from it. Parents are basically teaching their kids to become ghetto by doing this, and ultimately, giving them less of a chance to become successful. Why dress your little kids like thugs? How do you think they will grow up? Like thugs. I never understood this…it’s so moronic and obvious they are setup for failure.
I totally agree! I am a stay at home mom and my husband is the traditional breadwinner. I manage the house, finances, kids, and everything -basically am a homemaker.
My husband is from abroad and in his culture, children were raised very properly and conservatively. All babies are put in frilly gowns whether a boy or girl and basically look and act like babies. Mothers carry their babies everywhere with them and there is no concept of separation for the first three years at which time they begin nursery school.
I am proud to say that I do everything with my children and ther is no foul language in my home. The TV is permanently set on children’s educational programs. If we want to watch an adult movie, we wait until kids are sleeping.
I also do not allow my children to play with other children similar as you described. Because they are bad examples and we don’t want our kids to be influenced by bad words or bad manners. Some of my neighbors are so shocked that my children are so bashful and proper when we are in their company. But the truth is that if a child is taught from the beginning to behave well and to respect adults and are exposed to those constant lessons, they will grow up to be good adults.
