i have a 1990 190e the main hood latch is broken how can i get hood up?
wire and all is borken under the hood some where tried the safety latch it want work unless the main is poped how can i get it up any one know

i also used to be a mechanic. worked at the mercedes agent in a small country in africa way back when.
