Can washing your hands with a househald detergent affect your ability to use the notebook sensor pad?
I had to do some cleaning around the house using pretty strond household chemicals and then suddenly discovered that the sensor pad on my laptop would no longer react properly to the movement of my fingers any more.:) I washed them really hard and reset the computer, but it didn’t help. After a while though it seems things are coming back to normal. How come is it possible?
Life is Killing Me, I never used any strong chemicals to wipe the notebook, not even alcohol, and it is running perfectly. Safe and sound, with antivirus and everything.
Now my fingers are normal again after 3 hours and everything works. But right after the use of detergent there was simply nothing I could do! lol
Well, I’m not sure if it has to do with the chemicals ( are you sure it’s acid?), but this kind of things happened to me all the time before, the sensor pad didn’t react, the mouse didn’t move, but after 20 minutes it came back to normal, I guess it’s because you use this laptop for a long time, the whole system is blunt and slow, you need to re-install the system every one month…it’s not only keep it healthy, but also keep you safe from the viruses…( I don’t install anti-virus, just run naked on the net and reinstall the system 1 month later)..^_^..
So I don’t think it has to do with chemicals, if it corrode your laptop, then it wouldn’t be normal again, anyway, do no use chemical again, use 99.99% alcohol.
