What is default color settings for LCD monitor?

Mine is Sumsung SyncMaster 540N model LCD monitor. I changed my color settings. Now i want the old one back. i don’t know the default setting.

There should be an option to reset the colour point in the OSD menu. Or at least set it to a predetermined point.

The colour gamut and reproduction of monitors is not particularly good. LCD monitors are even worse. The better ones are those that have TCO’03 certification, as this includes a R G B colour point requirement.

You can buy colourimeters that you can put on your screen to calibrate the system, at least within the gamut that the monitor can reproduce. Search on colorimeter and huey, or spyder for two different models.

Calibrating your printer so that it matches the screen is a whole different problem.
