Can dell computers support these security suites?
My friend got an hp laptop and purchased eset smart security for it and it screwed up his computer. he called their tech support and they told him that hp doesn’t support eset.
he would like to get a dell and he wants to know if dell computers can support eset smart security/kaspersky internet security programes.

Just as well as any other computer.
Hardware has nothing to do with it.
This would be an issue of OS and possibly conflicting software.
HP consumer machines with windows run a bunch of unnecessary software which probably conflict, hence the “not supported” designation.
Of course, the need for such anti-malware software is mostly just a windows thing. Other OS’es are, for the most part, ‘immune’ to such issues.
